1. Exam Conducting Body

  • Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) – India’s largest public sector life insurer.


2. Purpose

To hire Financial Services Executives (FSEs) who will:

  • Promote LIC’s insurance and financial products.

  • Acquire and service policyholders.

  • Conduct marketing activities in assigned territories.

  • Achieve business targets and build customer relationships.


3. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation from a recognized university.

  • Preference given to candidates with a degree/diploma in Marketing, Management, or Finance.

  • Good knowledge of the local area and language is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of computers is desirable.

Age Limit

  • 21–35 years (relaxations: OBC +3 years, SC/ST +5 years).


4. Contract Nature

  • Contract Period: Generally 3 years.

  • Renewal possible based on performance.

  • Not a permanent job, but strong performers may be considered for other LIC roles.


5. Selection Process

  1. Written Test – Objective type, covering:

    • Reasoning Ability

    • Numerical Ability

    • General/Insurance Awareness

    • English Language

  2. Interview – To assess communication skills, marketing aptitude, and local area knowledge.
